For your initial first visit, a full set normally takes 2.5-3 hours. Fill appointments can be booked for 60 or 90 minutes.

Eyelashes should not be curled, unless directed otherwise by your technician. Lashes should be free of any dust, oil, or makeup build up so remove any eye makeup with a mild cleanser. Oily eyelashes cause the lash extensions not to bond to the natural lash.

Your lash artist will hold a consultation at the beginning of your full set appointment and discuss with you what look you are trying to achieve with getting lash extensions. Whether it be a more natural look, dramatic look, or something more believable our lash artist are able to tailor to your desired looked.

For your first appointment, we have you book a full set. We have different types of full sets with a wide price range depending on the artist and type of set. Once you have received your full set, fill appointments are needed every 2-4 weeks for as long as you wish to keep your extensions. Fills are typically booked for an hour and are meant to maintain the look you already have. Extended fill appointments are available if you or your lash artist feel it's necessary. We train our lash artists from the ground up, so lower pricing options are available with those artists who are working to build their speed and skill. Please call the salon to check availability.

Unlike traditional false strip lashes, eyelash extensions have quickly become the first modernized option for lash lengthening, which can be worn daily without nightly removal. Eyelash extensions are an elegant way to extend the length, thickness and curl of your natural eyelashes, making them a functional, convenient and glamorous substitute to the daily use of applying mascara.

After a full set of lashes has been applied, fill appointments are needed to maintain the lashes. Your natural lashes go through a shedding cycle, therefore your extensions fall off with them. Fills allow your lash artist to apply lash extensions to natural lashes that have recently grown in. When applied by a professional, fills are needed every 2-4 weeks, depending on your activity and day-to- day routine.

We recommend getting a fill every 2-4 weeks. A fill is needed to compensate for any lashes that have fallen due to the natural cycle of your own lashes. Fill appointments require approximately 60-90 minutes.

Mascara is not required since the extensions give the appearance of wearing mascara. One of the many benefits of eyelash extensions is that you do not need to use mascara. If you must apply mascara, only use water-based mascara. DO NOT USE OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA as it can dissolve the bonding agent used, thus shortening the life of your eyelash extensions. At The Freckled Fawn, we carry Mascara by NovaLash which is specifically formulated for use on our extensions without affecting the adhesive. If applying mascara over your extensions, be sure to apply no further than halfway down the lashes to keep away from the adhesive.

When applied by a professional, eyelash extensions will not harm your natural lashes. Proper application and technique allows for natural lashes to grow and flourish while having lash extensions on. Using the NovaLash application technique requires several different "separation" steps during the application process, so each extension is attached to only a single natural lash in order to prevent disruption of the eyelash growth cycle.

These are not in any particular order.

1. Do not pull on your lashes.
2. Stay away from extreme heats.
3. Use water based eye makeup remover or natural oils to loosen up and remove stay-all-day eye makeup.
4. Avoid rubbing your eyes excessively.
5. Brush lashes daily with a clean lash wand to ensure lashes look their best and to rid any loose lashes.
6. Clean with a gentle cleanser daily.
7. Do not do anything to alter the curl of your lashes (perm, mechanical curler, etc.).

Yes. NovaLash adhesive, which is the brand of adhesive we use here at The Freckled Fawn, is waterproof and oil proof; Thus allowing you to shower, swim, exercise, and go about your daily activities immediately after your appointment.

Not with our lashes. We use Novalash Eyelash Extensions with their award winning Platinum Bond Adhesive. Hence, we are able to send you on your way without the typical restrictions of other lash extension brands. You may get your lashes wet immediately after an appointment, and we actually encourage the use of natural oils on the lashes to help moisturize and clean the lash line and extensions.

Yes! Since lash extensions do not touch your skin, they will not interfere with your contacts or normal daily activities.

No. A lash lift service is not able to be performed while you are wearing eyelash extensions.

Yes! We are still able to perform a lash tint, even if you have eyelash extensions on. Please notify the front desk receptionist while booking your appointment if you wish to book an additional appointment for a lash tint.

We do take fill appointments from clients who have had their extensions applied elsewhere. However, there is a one-time transfer client fee dependent on the level of the artist you see. We also require that transfer clients book 90-minute long fill appointments. Since we cannot guarantee the work of other locations, we require the extra time that enables us to ensure you leave with the best possible work. The health of your natural lashes is our number one priority.

Yes, we require all lash extension full set appointments to have a prepaid deposit of $50.

A lash lift can last up to 6-8 weeks.

We recommend waiting 7-8 weeks before getting another lash lift done.

Yes, they can easily be removed by our lash artist. Please do not attempt to remove any lashes on your own as you could damage your natural lashes this way.

1. Exfoliate the skin 12 - 24 hours before your tan appointment.
2. Do not apply any lotions on the day of your appointment; that includes the face!
3. Come to your appointment wearing baggy dark clothing.
4. Shave 8-12 hours or Wax 24 hours before.

(We do provide disposable underwear and bras/nipple covers for those who want them, otherwise wearing dark undergarments is okay)

Refrain from showering for 8-12 hours. The longer it processes the better your tan will be.
Shower carefully during your first shower. You will see the brown bronzer coming off and that is OKAY. Your developed tan will be underneath. Pat yourself dry with a towel. DO NOT RUB. Apply a non-scented moisturizer. Avoid any moisturizers with AHAs in them as they will strip your tan. Chlorine and excessive sweating will prematurely fade your tan as well.

Come to your appointment with clean, dry hair. You will be in your stylist's chair for a while so it doesn't hurt to wear comfy clothing. You are more than welcome to bring yourself snacks and drinks for your time with us, otherwise, we do have a refreshment bar with coffee, tea, and water. Please show up to your appointment 5-10 minutes early to ensure that your stylist has the appropriate time for your service.
